West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE)

WBJEE Medical Conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) allows admissions to undergraduate medical and dental courses.

State-level Selection Process: The candidates will be called for counseling on the basis of the result.
Application form/procedure
􀀃 The interested candidates need to fill in WBJEE Online Application Form through the official website (http://www.wbjeeb.in/).  The WBJEE application form fees of Rs. 500 can be deposited either online or Allahabad E-Bank Challan or selected Post Office.
Counselling procedure
The WBJEE merit rank will be announced soon after the declaration of the results. The counselling for WBJEE will be conducted in three phases. The phases of counselling depend on the number of meritorious students and the availability of the seats. A fourth round may be conducted if seats are available after the deemed three rounds of WBJEE counseling are concluded.
Exam pattern
The exam comprises multiple-choice questions with 80% of the total marks and short answer type questions with 20% of the total marks. The total marks allotted for WBJEE 2014 Exam is 200. There shall be a system of negative marking of 33.33% for every wrong response.
